SRUCSA Statement regarding the consultation on closures at Elmwood Campus

SRUC recently announced a consultation to discuss the potential closure of the Golf Course and Student Residences. This news has been met with shock and sadness, especially considering the adverse impact it will have on vulnerable students who rely on these facilities. SRUCSA has been actively advocating for improvements to the residential experience and has engaged in consultations with students residing on campus. The association emphasizes the importance of the ongoing consultation, as it provides students with an opportunity to express their opinions and have their voices heard during the decision-making process. SRUCSA is committed to supporting affected students and encourages them to email their thoughts and experiences to ensure their input is considered by SRUC.
