Nominations are open for the SRUCSA Awards 2026, and it’s your chance to recognise the people and moments that make SRUC what it is. From standout staff and supportive classmates to creative teaching, field trips, and even campus creatures, there’s a category for just about everything, plus an open one if you’ve got something else in mind. If someone’s made your campus better this year, get them nominated and tell us why - we’ll make sure they hear it.

This blog post from SRUC’s Digital Learning Team sets out the thinking behind the new 'AI Compass', a student resource designed to give a grounded view of what AI is, where it might help, and where the limits and concerns sit, including environmental and ethical points students have often raised. SRUC doesn't want to push you to use AI, but wants to ensure you’ve got enough of a handle on it to make your own call on using it within your studies.
