Manifesto 

Hello everyone,  

I am Puja Sharma, student of MSc International Food and Agriculture Business at SRUC, Aberdeen. I am standing to ensure that every student across all SRUC campuses receives a high-quality, supportive, and inclusive education. I will be prioritizing on the quality of education, the student’s wellbeing (happiness, comfort, and security) as well as ensure that the institute make use of student’s feedback effectively. 

I am requesting you to vote for me as I have goals to fulfil when I will be in the position. My goals are for the betterment of teaching learning process. Like; 

  • Empowering Class Representative so that it will be easier to communicate between academic bodies and students in terms of their feedback and experiences. 

  • By collaborating with academic leadership, maintaining top quality modules with faster assessment feedback. 

  • I believe student’s wellbeing is very important, and I will make sure students feel free to share their feedback and experiences. 

  • I will be working on Unifying Our Campuses, by fostering cross-campus societies, events, and joint initiatives so no student or group feels isolated. 

I am and will be the one dedicated to listening to your concerns with empathy and acting as a clear, strong voice for all students. As I am experienced in working collaboratively with student officers, staff, and decision-making committees, I will be proactive about identifying learning challenges and delivering practical, student-first solutions. 

My Commitment to you is; 

  • You will see my active, accessible presence across campus and online. 

  • I will put students interests at the heart of every SRUC committee meeting. 

  • There will be regular updates on the progress made regarding student feedback and educational quality.
