We are delighted to announce your candidates in this year’s SRUCSA Co-President election. Voting will be open between Monday 22nd – Friday 26th May. During this time, make sure to familiarise yourself with the candidate manifestos around campus and online. You can learn more from the elections page on Moodle.

To use your vote, look out for an email from Civica in the coming week. This is an important opportunity to help decide who represents your interests on campus. Every candidate will also be running against the option to reopen nominations (RON). If RON receives the majority of votes, nominations will be reopened.

With no further ado, let’s meet this year’s candidates:

North Faculty

Jeremiah Chibueze will be running unopposed for the Co-President North Faculty position. Jeremiah is a distance-learning student studying Poultry Production.

Central Faculty

Damson Ellen will be running unopposed for the Co-President Central Faculty position. Damson studies Environmental Management and is affiliated with the Edinburgh campus.

South & West Faculty

Schaun Shirkie and Catherine Stewart will be running against each other for the Co-President South & West Faculty position. Schaun and Catherine are both students at the Barony campus. Schaun studies Wildlife & Conservation Management and Catherine studies Veterinary Nursing.
