November

In November I did a lot of travelling!

I was asked to give a short speech at the HNC & HND Graduation in Glasgow which was a daunting task but was not so bad once I was up on stage in front of hundreds believe it or not! I hope all SRUC graduates the very best of luck in the big bad world and hope they all had a fantastic day.

In November I ensured all Campus Officers had a supply of NUS flyers and was happy to see that the entire executive team have been heavily promoting the NUS Extra Card to give students discount at a variety of stores nation wide. We were able to promote this card effectively at the recent Careers Fayre held at Oatridge on the 12th of November. SRUCSA have also been supporting Movember. SRUCSA again took the opportunity of the Careers Fayre to get students to promote Movember by using cardboard cut-out moustaches and using social media.  Myself and Alex felt that SRUCSA benefitted a lot from having a stall at the Careers Fayre compared to last year where presidents circulated the room.

SRUCSA & SRUC raised an astounding £790 for Movember.
