Speak Week is one of the main ways students share honest feedback about their experience at SRUC. This year, many took the time to take part. That feedback has now been gathered and reviewed. Here’s where things currently stand.
Speak Week is one of the main ways students share honest feedback about their experience at SRUC. This year, many took the time to take part. That feedback has now been gathered and reviewed. Here’s where things currently stand.
What happened?
- Student feedback was collected across a range of areas including learning, assessment, wellbeing, facilities, travel, food, and cost of living
- Responses have been read and grouped to identify common themes and issues
- The feedback is being shared with relevant staff and services
At this stage, the focus has been on understanding what students are saying, rather than drawing conclusions or comparisons.
What’s happening now?
- Key themes from Speak Week are being raised in ongoing discussions with staff and academic managers
- Areas of concern are being followed up to understand what action is possible
- Complex or constrained issues are being acknowledged
This is an active on-going process; the progress of outcomes will be followed up and shared.
What happens next?
- Updates will be shared as actions become clearer
- Speak Week feedback will inform future priorities and discussions
- Issues where clarity or progress is needed will continue to be raised
Speak Week is one part of a wider effort to improve the student experience and enhance student voice.
Finally, Thank you to everyone who took part. Speak Week feedback has been heard and is being taken forward. We’ll continue to share what we can, as we can.
