Fifty Pounds!
Looking for something fun to do? Looking to make new pals whilst doing something you love to do? This new Academic Year we're starting of with a brand new grant for your new society, or for ones continuing from last year. Whether organising a pizza night, or a night of ping pong in your local sports hall - the sky is the limit (though, please see the list of things it can be spent on below for a realistic image).
As you, of course, know by this point starting a new society is incredibly easy and straightforward. If there's any hiccups, however, just contact us and we'll help you out.
Fine print about the grant
This money would need to be used for any of the following:
- Equipment for activities
- Activity facilitators (renting space, equipment use)
- Events (e.g., SSS events, sign up costs for leagues)
- Reservation costs for activities/events
- Transport refunds to members
- Renting vehicles for transport
- Subscription fees to organisations that aid the goals/purposes/activities of the society
- Anything to reduce access barriers (e.g., participation funding for those students who otherwise could not participate)
- Food, drinks (non-alcoholic), takeaway for social gatherings and events
