Menstrual Health, Physical Activity and Mental Wellbeing

A research project being carried out by the University of Edinburgh, SAMH and Public Health Scotland. The team is looking to hear from young people in Scotland about their experiences of physical activity and having periods.

The aim is to inform recommendations on how best to support young people to be physically active in an enjoyable and healthy way throughout their menstrual cycle.

The survey is open to anyone who:

 

  • Is aged 16–24
  • Has started menstruating (at least 3 periods)
  • Is not currently pregnant or breastfeeding
