Come to the Bike Repair Workshop in Craibstone Campus on the 17th and 24th and have your bike repaired.
Bike Repair and Fundraiser
You read that right, dear reader: you can have your bike repaired both on 17th and the 24th of June (just in time for the Tour de France in July!!).
Bike repair workshops are not only a great opportunity to prepare a summer of fun on your favourite two wheeled vehicle (though technically uni cycles are welcome too!) - you can learn a thing or two fixing and maintaining them too!
The event will be run by lecturer Neil MacKintosh, who is Velotech Gold trained. You can bring your own bikes as well as your kids' ones as well.
This is run to raise money for the Midmill Velohut - a great initiative to support bike maintenance education for communities.
Where and When?
Cycle enthusiast are in luck, there is not only one but two workshop days announced. And going by how the events go, there may be some to follow after that more regularly.
The first one being between 10.00 and 11.30 AM on Wednesday 17th June. The second edition will be between 2 and 4pm on 24th June.
Both are by the main doors to the Feruson Building at Craibstone Campus. See you there! :-)
